Mind Spa’s unwavering commitment is to be a place of safety and refuge for Christians who are hurt and struggling. We are different because we engage our counseling and psychological work on the foundation of Christian values. Why is that important? When you are hurting, you are the most vulnerable. It is critical that in your vulnerability, you have safety to be able sort through your thoughts and feelings without judgment and without being led astray. That is our mission and our promise to you.
She is the CEO and the visionary of Mind Spa. She finds great joy out of working with her clients who are professionals, leaders, and business owners. Her clinical work often consists of helping them identify their blind spots in their life to help them find more purpose and meaning. She also finds that most people are struggling with self-acceptance, and that gets in the way of truly being joyful and experiencing freedom. She is an optimistic and can always help people find value in their life, identifying their strengths, and using their strengths to grow.
Debbie has a heart for the hurting and has been working and volunteering in the service of others for decades- as a teacher, a minister’s wife, and a counselor. Her work uniquely harnesses the relationships among our physical, emotional and spiritual parts (through “energy psychology”). She helps her clients find wellness, both emotionally and physically. She has a very soft, warm, and compassionate demeanor that puts almost anyone at ease, and she walks through life with a lot of wisdom about priorities and taking care of one’s self. For the past decade, she has also been working with her therapy dog, Ellie, who is a sweet and curious dog.
Krystal is compassionate and enthusiastic and is amazingly is easy to connect with. She works incredibly well with such a broad range of people (children, teens and adults) that she is found to have a wide impact. The area of counseling that she naturally integrates into her work is from Dr. Brene Brown’s research on connection, vulnerability and shame. Krystal’s dedication to her own life values comes across strongly, and it inspires those around her to sort through their challenges and hold true to their values as well.
