Once Mind Spa has received your completed packet, we will verify your insurance and find out your copay/coinsurance rate. For questions about insurance please visit us here. After the insurance verification, our admin team will call to schedule your first appointment.

Questions about Becoming a New Client
How long is Mind Spa’s intake packet?
Our packet is semi-detailed. We ask for basic information (such as an address, phone number, and insurance information) but also some more detailed items about your family history and what’s brought you to us at this current moment. We use this information to determine who the best therapist is to work with you, but also gives the therapist a jumping-off point for where to begin your treatment. It shouldn’t take longer than 15 minutes.
Why do you ask for a credit card number?
Mind Spa asks clients to put a credit card on file for copays only. We want to make sure that your appointment goes smoothly, and hopefully being focused on your session with your therapist instead of remembering to pay your copay.
What happens after I finish my paperwork?
Mind Spa uses the information you entered to create a file and run an insurance verification. This checks to make sure your policy is active and also tells us important information about your specific plan. This can take 24 hours to receive back, so once we have this information, we call to make your new client appointment!
How far out should I expect my new appointment to be?
Typically, Mind Spa has appointments available within 7 days!
