Provisional Professional Counselor
Do you feel completely overwhelmed with life or family issues? Do you have difficulty communicating with a loved one, be it child, parent, or significant other? Maybe you just want to figure out a direction for your life and not feel stuck any longer? I help those who feel unable to keep moving forward, or who just don’t know what steps to take to improve their situation or relationship. Life is messy. I can help you navigate those messes by helping you to find insight along the way.
Einstein said, “Problems cannot be solved by the level of awareness that created them.”
I have specific experience with foster and adoptive families experiencing difficulty blending the families. I myself have been a foster and adoptive parent, bringing new people into my home for years, and learning to help those with diverse backgrounds and experiences mesh with those already present in the home. Change is required from both sides in order to achieve harmony. I have also worked closely with bio families where there is trauma or behavioral difficulties. I believe each person should find their own strengths and learn to work with them and capitalize on them to meet whatever goal is being targeted.
Einstein also said, “Everyone is a genius, but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will spend its whole life believing it is stupid.”
(It appears I like Einstein, maybe?)
I am a Provisionally Licensed Counselor in the state of Wyoming.
