I’m Shelley! Are you feeling like your relationship could use a tune up? Do you find yourself consumed by anxiety and depression and just want to live a happier life? Do you feel like you could benefit from a safe space to talk about circumstances and experiences in your life that you’ve never been able to process or share with others? Do you feel like your children are out of control and you’ve run out of options? Does your partner understand your needs?
I am a provisionally licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Wyoming. I have dedicated my life to supporting the well-being and mental health needs of my community, and have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and a Master’s degree in Clinical/Counseling Psychology, with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Counseling. My goal as a therapist is to help my client’s attain the life that they want by providing them with skills and a safe place to talk. I use a variety of modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems, play therapy, sand tray therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, interpersonal processing, attachment theory and many others to support the needs of my clients. I have experience working with the entire lifespan, including children as young as 3 years old. With children, I utilize play therapy, art therapy, sand tray therapy, and sensory interventions while working closely with the parent(s).
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you feel that I can help support you, your children, or your entire family. I’m here to help.
